I became now the Co-founder of the group
So now we need members and pictures who should be inspired by your own dreams you've had. The group would founded by the fantastic :iconphilosophe42: philosophe42  and I want that every one who read this to look at this new group with the main theme dreams.

When you know people who draw such stuff send them a link =) thanks!

Folder names should be read literally and not metaphorically - the only thing that should go into the "Dreams" folder, for example, are accounts of dreams you've had, and maybe attempts to recreate what you've seen while dreaming.

Before anybody says "just move it to the correct folder" - try that, some time, in a group of your own. Contrary to what the usual brown nosers in the help forum will tell you, drag and drop in the galleries for a group is a poorly programmed feature that is a nightmare to use. I ended up trying two different browsers and burning away a few minutes, just to move two images. Picture doing this on a regular basis. It would not be fun, and like everybody else, I've got things to do.

This time around, I made an effort to move deviations to where they belonged, but I will have to start deleting submissions that are in the wrong place, just like almost every other admin in almost other group on DeviantArt has been doing for a while. I don't want to do that, but I do have a life outside of the Internet, and so I do have to set limits.

Members can post to this blog, which is serving the role of a discussion forum for this group.

Stories set in a dreamlike setting. Surrealistic art and photography, and talk about the same, are welcome here as well, as is Magical Realism, for which separate sections exist.

For fiction and other narrative that, while set in a fictive reality that bears some resemblance to our own, diverges from that reality in some significant way. Not science fiction, and not really diverging from the world as we know it to truly be fantasy. Surrealistic art and photography, and talk about the same, are welcome here as well, as I said above. "Real life ghost stories" and fringe science are not - those present should have enough common sense to know the difference between fiction and reality. If you have any questions, just drop by my profile and send me a private message, and perhaps I'll be able to answer them.

All content posted to this group must be suitable for general audiences, which is not to say that I personally don't welcome tastefully done figure studies or favor censorship in literature. However, out of respect for the rules on Flickr, I would ask you to submit mature content to a companion group which I've created for that purpose.

Members are asked to be courteous to each other, but if they must fight, are asked to take their disputes to a secluded area, so that they will not disturb others. My decisions, as I run my groups, are sometimes explained in posts to my moderation journal. You can follow both the discussions and the photo pool for this group by e-mail, through Feedburner, or by following Electric Giraffes on Twitter.

You can return to your ring via the copy of the group homepage on Webring Webspace or the one on Freewebsites dot com or, maybe through the code you see below, unless rings have been getting merged, again. Or if you entered my pages through a different site, of course.

This group has a companion on Flickr.
